Under the Mukhyamantri Solar Pump Yojana linked with PM-KUSUM, the Madhya Pradesh Energy Department has greenlit an expanded allocation of 45,000 solar agricultural water pump sets to eliminate diesel dependence in water-scarce districts.
Eligibility and Subsidy Scale:
- ✔3 HP Submersible Pump: 90% subsidy for SC/ST and marginal farmers with up to 2 hectares of land.
- ✔5 HP & 7.5 HP Surface/Submersible Pumps: Available for medium cultivators at 80% combined financial assistance.
- ✔Online Portal: Registration is managed via the MPUVN portal with Samagra Family ID, Khasra-Khatoni, and bank passbook.
Approved applicants will receive installation within 60 days of site verification by district engineers.
