Rajasthan: 70% Drip & Sprinkler Subsidy in Arid Zones & Record Bajra Procurement

To maximize water-use efficiency across arid and semi-arid tracts, the Rajasthan Department of Agriculture is providing up to 70% capital subsidies for small and marginal farmers installing pressurized drip and mini-sprinkler irrigation systems under the Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchayee Yojana (PMKSY).

2. 2Bajra Mandi Procurement: Direct procurement at ₹2,625 per quintal MSP underway in Alwar, Bharatpur, and Nagaur mandis.
3. 3Mustard Moisture Warning: Advised to store mustard harvest at under 8% moisture to safeguard against fungal rot.
